I was just going to let this clip from a student who was dissatisfied with the level of his animation instruction slide by the first time I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but Andy Baio linked to it again and I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING AT IT. Hit the link for the context and interview with the animator.
This is pretty neat, for those of you who have fond memories of CALVIN & HOBBES like me: a very short animated C&H; film done, presumably 100% without authorization, in Bill Watterson’s style by an Italian animation student. As a final project.
